The location was great, right in the Balcon de Europa square. Our room faced the church. The beach access was also right across the square. The room was spotless, clean and so were the common areas. Hotel has a small rooftop pool.

We knew it had an excellent reputation before going and we were intrigued to see why for ourselves. It lived up to expectation. It was peaceful, yet so close to the main square in Nerja. The ringing of the nearby church bell while sunbathing by the rooftop pool added to its character. The hotel is well maintained and impeccably clean. The front desk staff were positive and helpful. The staff looked like they were happy to be there themselves. The self service breakfast was basic but adequate. Overall, it's justifiably highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at Puerta del Mar. The location is excellent, less than 1 minute from the lovely square in Nerja and also 1 minute from the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean.

A clean, comfortable retreat just steps away from the Balcon. The continental breakfast is good, with fresh fruits and a good coffee selection. Enjoy the rooftop pool and fine views. I appreciated the friendly staff who even held my e-reader safely after I left it behind. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

All good - we loved this brand-new hotel - the food was brilliant and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. It had a stunning and brilliant location - near Church of el Salvador. Furthermore, the area was very nice. The whole experience was really enjoyable, nothing too much trouble, would recommend.
